New Obsession..... New Reason to Live

For some reason i was never attracted to motorbikes. I always thought of them as unpractical and dangerous machines. In the last few years i started to like them more and more, but i never thought i would want to have one. Even when i tried my brother's motorbike, and experienced the thrill of air blowing against me, i kept my concerns.
Today, and for some unknown reason, i developed an obsession towards motorbikes, Super motorbikes to be precise. The one i fell in love with is the Ducati 1098s. This spectacular looking monster, with it's stunning power has now become a dream of mine.

Though it has only two cylinders it is the most powerful amongst it's competitors, including these Japanese 4 in line. It is also the lightest as well. It only weighs 171 Kg dry, whereas the other bikes are 300-400. The engine produces at least 170 bhp @ 9750 rpm. And with its 12.5 kgm @ 8000rpm ( 90.4 lb-ft for those who don't use SI Units) It is the proud owner of the highest power to weight ratio of any sport bike. This engine is controlled by a 6 speeds gear and for the first time in motorcycles, a set of Brembo brakes. It is also the first to include a full digital screen and a USB data analyser system recording 3.5 hours of ride time. Not to forget the fully adjustable suspension, the aggressive looking head light, and the super sporty twin exchuast.
This beauty gave me a new reason to live, and to work hard. You will definitely see me cruising the roads on this monster one day. Just wait and see !!
